For all tourist information, trips, maps, fiestas you can go to the tourist office in Pego. When you go to Pego, go left at the second roundabout. The tourist office is immediately at you left.

 

A few tips:

Make a trip through the mountains to the waterfall of Callosa d’Ensarria. This tour will take at least half a day. Drive to Pego and from there to Orba. Then via a pass high in the mountains to Tarbena and further to Callosa.

 

Near Benidorm is the theme park Terra Mitica.

 

You can make a boat trip on the Salinar river through the rice fields and orange tree plantations just off Monte Pego.

Near Pego in the Ebo valley you can visit a stalactite cave.  For a small fee you can make a tour of 30 minutes.

 

Oliva has very nice beaches. Follow the road signs with “platja”. We like the platja de Rabdells, because of its white sand. Near the beach is a camping (camping de Europa) with a restaurant at the beach.  There are also possibilities to go wind surfing or kiting.

 

Denia is a small city at the sea. A nice boulevard, many restaurants and bars. You can visit the castle of Denia.

 

Oliva Nova and La Sella are the nearest 18 holes golf courses.

 

Each village and city has a market. In Pego on thursday. Oliva on friday, Denia monday and friday.

Usually until 2 o’clock. Every Sunday from 7 to 2 o’clock there is a flee market  (rastro) in Vergel. It is located in the industrial area  close to the round about . Not only for second hand stuff, but also for vegetables and fruit.
