How safe is the house for children?
The house is built on a mountain slope. Ground floor, pool and a part of the garden are at street level.
The pool has free access from the terrace with only a border of 10 cm high. If you have children who cannot swim you must be very careful. The deepest point of the pool is approximately 2 meters.
Also, if you have very small children you must keep them away from the stairs that connects the terrace with the lower garden.
The terrace and two sides of the pool are protected by a fence of 1 meter high, but children may climb over it.
In the lower garden there is a pergola. It offers shade and 2 places for hammocks. A path goes further down the garden. At the end of the path the garden ends in a cliff of 4 or 5 meters. Cactus, bougainvillea and lemon trees make it difficult to get too close to the cliff, but all the same it is better to keep small children away from the back end of the garden.
Another part of the garden is still very much the original mountain, with terraces, rocks, small paths, shrubs, olive and palm trees. Although it is a little bit cultivate it still does justice to the surrounding environment.
There is much difference in level, but you can easily walk around.
